Dionysus Olympics Supper Chaos and Christ's Bread and Wine Supper Table
Dionysus Olympics Supper Chaos and Christ's Bread and Wine Supper Table
Reader's digest: Dionysus is the Greek god of wine, agriculture, madness, sexuality, insanity, and violence. Dionysus' rituals taught the ancient world how to commune with the dead and the ruler of Hades. Eating and drinking with the ruler of the dead and the underworld is performed via the practice of "theophagy" (the eating the god) ; "omophagia" (the eating of raw flesh) ; and the "drinking the god" or drinking blood to operate with dark power. Drinking the god is tasting or partaking the god's raw negative power. That is the symbol of drinking Dionysian wine, meaning, to operate by the power of Hades. All these religious ancient practices amount to witchcraft and are intrinsically related to rituals of protection from the deities of Hades. The ancient world feared most and celebrated the god of the underworld and the governor of the dead souls. As the ruler of Hades, Dionysus is nicknamed, "The eater of raw flesh", and "he who delights in the sword and bloodshed". Notice that Apollo, Bacchus, Hermes, Zeus, the goddess Ishtar/Isis nicknamed the queen of heaven, and Dionysus are mutant manifestations of the same deity. It is the same god of darkness/and destroyer of light or the king/queen of the underworld and the dead. Lucifer, the ex-angel of light, has become the ruler of Hades, with a new fancy nickname: Dionysus/Bacchus !
Seemingly, Gnostic teaching has hijacked Christian theology of religious meal by imposing the Dionysiac narratives to the believers. All who drank from the cup of wine of Dionysus are graduates in insanity, violence, bottomless perversion, debauchery, and chaos. "Ordo ab chao" is the motto of the Dionysiac adepts. Drinking Dionysus' wine is receiving a baptism in darkness to operate by darkness. Dionysus' wine is the celebration of the mark of the Beast. The mark of the primitive Beast is an open rebellion against God most High and his laws. Do not search too far to identify the mark of Dionysius, the primitive Beast. The mark of the Beast is best found found in Genesis 19. The two daughters of Lot got him drank with wine and slept with their old father in order to preserve the family line. They both got impreganted by their father. The Moabites and the Ammonites came out of this incestuous relationship. The outcome was chaos, insanity, and violence in the family line. The mark of the Beast is manifested via violence, insanity, and chaos, such as moral depravity. We found another clear demonstration in Leviticus 20: a man having sexual relations with his father's wife or his daughter-in-law; a man having sexual relations with an animal; a man having sexual relations with a man.
As such, Dionysus is the master trickster in chief with no rival: a double-nature deity or a binary god (male/female), depicted as long-haired youth, effeminate and yet, as an old looking bearded man. Dionysus is the wild and primitive spirit or beast-god that takes possession of his devotees via sexual orgies, insanity, and uncontrollable violent behavior. By day, it's known as Apollo, and called Dionysus or Liber Pater at night. Dionysus' common feature is found in his modus operandi: killing, destruction of light to operate by darkness, stealing, and imposing chaos as order. In essence, Hermes is the sophisticated incarnation of the trickster, amoral in character, patron of thieves, cunning, master in mischief, prone to challenge the established order. Called Mercury in ancient Rome, Hermes is the herald of the olympic gods. He is the leader of the dead souls to the river Styx in the underworld and Hades. That's why his nickname is "the receiver of many" as the one taking the dead souls to his kingdom in Hades. Likewise, Ishtar/Isis is the goddess of war who delights in bloodshed, the goddess of perverted sexuality or pornography, and violence. Zeus, infamous for his erotic escapades, amoral character and insanity, is ruling all the gods on mount Olympus. The common feature of the Dionysiac rituals is "phallophonia", or the carrying round of a large wood phallus, symbol of fertility. Theophagy or "eating the god" was the central rite of the Dionysiac orgies. Adepts of Dionysus celebrate the "spring anthesterion" where they hold celebration for the new wine with special rituals for the dead. The dead souls leave Hades and enter the world to commune with the living. Human blood or sacrifice alongside sexual orgies must be offered in honor of the ruler of Hades.
INTRODUCTION
The July 2024 Paris olympics opening ceremony has brought much commotions around the globe. The intake for many is that, it was an insult to millions of believers. Conservative leaders have given their verdict. The olympics show was blatantly offensive, a parody of mockery and derision of the Last Supper, central to christian faith.Yet, the organizers had begged to disagree. From their perspective, it was rather a revenge and vindication table set in Paris in honor of Dionysus. The adepts of Dionysus are holding grudges against the believers in Christ for a copyright infringement. Christian theology of meal or the eucharist has largely borrowed from the Dionysiac ritual and worship. From this perspective Dionysus owes no apology to the believers in Christ. It will be fair to say that many have just entered their season of shaking and awakening to rude truth. Beyond the controversy and violent vitriol, it may be time to sign the divorce letter between Christ's table of wine and bread from Dionysus' wine ritual and ancient festival. Dionysus' supper table sparks chaos, violence, and unleash insanity and madness. The distinctive feature of Dionysus identity is found in his nickname: "He who delights in the sword and bloodshed". De facto, Dionysus is the god and ruler of death and finds no greater delight than bringing death and destruction. Christ's table of bread and wine is antithetical to Dionysus' supper chaos and bloodshed. Christ is the ruler of life as the one who saves from death. Wine and bread in Christ are the cure against death and destruction. Christ's supper is a call to salvation from death. Indeed, for as far as the west is from the east, there is nothing in common between Christ's supper and Dionysus' table. God's table set in Zion is the exact opposite to the table of Zeus/Dionysus or Bacchus as celebrated in Greece. Greece worshipped and celebrated the god and ruler of death as the conquerer of mankind, while death has been defeated in Zion and eternal life through Christ is celebrated as reward for those who overcame death. Thus, to draw the clear demarcation line between these two tables, three questions must be answered to stand clear from Greco-pagan religious mimicry, confusion, deception, and return to biblical truth.
- What is really at stake when believers claim to eat the body of Christ in the eucharist and why is it irreconcilable with the notion of "theophagy" or eating flesh of the god in Dionysus ritual?
- If the last supper could not become a substitute to sacramental cannibalism, what do believers really eat when they partake this eucharistic bread? What is in this bread intake when it is assimilated?
- What does it mean to drink the blood of Christ and how the Gnostic teaching has mislead many into a Dionysiac wine festival mindset? More than a consecrated wine drinking celebration, wine in the new covenant is the symbol of the Holy Spirit coming to dwell, live in, lead, and take control of the believers to fulfill God's agenda on earth.
COMMON TRAGIC RELIGIOUS MISCONCEPTIONS EXPOSED
It is well taken. The eucharist - meaning thanksgiving in Greek - is central to christian faith. It has been accepted as the source and the high mark of christian faith. Unfortunately, this religious formula creates an embarrassing truth by artificially bringing a distinction between God's Word and the celebration of his Bread given to mankind for salvation. If the eucharist is central to Christian faith, then the Word of God becomes subordinate or subservient to the eucharist. The question becomes: why did God send us his Word if his Bread was enough? It sounds like an attempt to centralize the symbol of the Bread in christian faith to the point of making the Word of God of no effect and of no value. Yet, the Bread of God is simply speaking of His Rhema Word. The bread we eat and celebrate is his Word. Salvation as bread is God's Word revealed by and called Yeshua. Reclaiming the eucharist, God's Word, or Yeshua as central to the christian walk is simply expressing this truth. There is no substitute to God's Word. The name given to the Word on earth is Yeshua. The Bread from heaven who came down is called Yeshua. And salvation is found in Yeshua = only in the Word of God you shall find salvation, not in any religion. You may stand unwavering by your religious dietary convictions. And let it be according to your religious conviction that you are called to drink divine blood and eat divine flesh. The day you commit a murder or rob a bank, you will lose your divine blood drinking appetite behind prisons heavy bars. Drinking "divine blood" and eating "divine flesh" do not grant you immunity to go against God's Word. For God has magnified his Word above his Name. Another logical incongruity pertaining from the notion of theophagy could be applied to Ephesians 1:23. The church is the body of Christ. That implies this relevant question. Are we suppose to eat the church if the church is also Christ's body? What does it imply to transfer the body of Christ to the Church? That leads us to return to biblical truth and not fall into blind mimicry of Gnostic teaching about wine drinking festival and flesh eating disorder with Dionysus, the queen/king of death. What is all about when believers are called to eat the body of Christ? There is one common and permanent temptation hanging over all believers. It is the seduction of mistaking religion for God.Reducing God to the parameters of your religion is the graveyard for religious fools. The Father and most High God awaits us at the end of our religious journey when we are exhausted by our own religious performance and gimmicks. Then the Spirit of the Father teaches us how to build a genuine relationship with the Father. We must assimilate God's Rhema Word and be under the influence of the Holy Spirit in order to mature and grow to full capacity as children of the Father.
DOES YOUR RELIGION EAT RAW FLESH? When sacramental cannibalism comes into collusion with eating God's Bread
Reader's digest: Dionysus is more than a night party god for casual wine drinkers. Believers and followers of the deity become graduates in darkness with high achievements in chaos, violence, woke insanity, along with high performance in debauchery olympics and destruction of human lives. Followers of Dionysus must challenge the established social order and bear the distinctive signature of those who only take pride as being immoral or never conforming to accepted standards of morality and values. "Ordo ab chao" is to impose inverted social values as new norms for all to comply. For instance, a man parading with fake breasts and red lipsticks is imposing social order by chaos by forcefully redefining what it means to be a woman. The two daughters of Lot got him intoxicated with wine and committed incest with their own father to have children. Dionysus will remove all sexual and moral boundaries to lure one into moral decadence and insanity. That is order by chaos !
Most Christian theology of religious meal is still largely informed by the standard Dionysian rituals brought to us by the teaching of gnostic Christianity prevalent throughout Europe. Blood is related as bridge to the divine and a bona-fide cure for diseases. It harks back to the Hittite ritual who used "to drink the soul of the deceased king", or "to drink a god" incarnated in the ruler-king.Unsurprisingly enough, the simplistic dogmatic and literal assertion of "transubstantiation" is a poor mimic of the central ritual of "theophagy" as "eating the god", practiced in the Dionysiac orgies.Ancient worshippers of Dionysus tore the animal-incarnation of their god, devoured its flesh, and drink its blood. "Omophagia" was the frantic devouring of raw flesh and hot blood through which the adepts of Dionysius could absorb the divine spirit. This is sacramental cannibalism. By so doing, they were filled with divine power and transplanted into the realm of divinity. Among the many titles associated with Dionysus, we find the following: "the eater of raw flesh", "the giver of wine which removes all sorrows".
Through the communal "agape feasts", the Hellenized christians were given reassurance to be symbolically enjoying divine flesh and drinking divine blood. Thus, the former Dionysian adepts felt at home and subdued by this vindication of Dionysius. They took the eucharist as a revival of Dionysian rituals. The cult of Dionysus was the most popular religion of the ancient world. Apollo, Zeus, Hermes and Dionysius are the same manifestation of the same deity, the god of light and darkness. By day, it's known as Apollo. And called Dionysus or Liber Pater at night. Dionysus is believed to be the son of Persephone and Zeus - the Queen and King of the dead and the underworld. Dionysus is simply the other name of Satan or the goddess Ishtar, the Queen/King of the Dead and the underworld, hiding under many nicknames-tricks. Ancient gods are simply revenants hiding and returning in cultures under various nicknames, via myths and religious propaganda. Oftentimes, new converts to Christ hardly divorce from their ancient deities. We must not downplay the long journey to theological contamination when it comes to understanding the eucharist.
Unfortunately, early Hellenized Jews and converts to the christian movement seemed to have found no remorse and shame adopting Dionysian religious fantasy into their theology. They came up with their own theological rendition of civilized sacramental cannibalism. Tragically enough, many believers underestimate the high level of ongoing information warfare that started in Eden by Satan. Dionysus presents himself as "the eater of raw flesh", not only to conceal his warfare acumen as a crafty fighter, but also to deceive about his battlefield intelligence operations.
The notion of eating "raw flesh" refers to the original divine information designed by God for Man to operate. Satan comes to "eat" or destroy the divine information in Man in order to bring death. For death to enter Man, the divine information must be eaten or destroyed. Man as product of divine information is interconnected to the flow of divine life by the Word. Obviously, warfare against mankind becomes above all an information warfare. Unless the divine information encoded in Man is destroyed, Man cannot die or stop living. That's why, salvation as antidote to the works of the Queen/King of the dead, comes primarily by "eating" the Word. "Unless you eat my flesh, you have no life in you !"
Because Man must eat the Word to live, Satan also comes as "the eater of raw flesh" meaning, to fight against, oppose, and destroy the Word becoming effective in Man. Both Satan and Man eat the Word by all means. Man eats to receive Life. Satan eats to bring death. Cannibalism is eating to destroy the information data flow that builds up a body.
Here is the sophisticated deception in the eating approach of the "flesh". The serpent is cunning means that, Satan has the ability to reason and speak in order to undermine, suppress, and make the truth of God's Word of no effect when Man receives it.By introducing unproductive rational and relentless argumentative approach to God's Word, Satan found the best way to nullify God's power in his Word when eaten "raw" by Man.It's eating the Word while rejecting and opposing the Spirit of God. It's eating to undermine the truth, to avoid assimilating or being transformed by the Word.
The eater of raw flesh is the Logos consumer who will never covenant with the Spirit of God. Always debating, arguing, coming into disagreement, and questioning the Word in order not to obey it, but to destroy it. Eating to find justification not to abide by the Word of God. It's called today, the "deconstruction agenda" of the Word.
Why Satan is encouraging Man to "eat raw flesh"? He made the confession in Eden by his own mouth. The day Man will assimilate, function by, operate, and integrate the Word of God, Man will become like God himself. Satan meant this: Man will inherit God's character, power, nature, and be led by His Spirit, the day the Word takes root or rules over Man. That will be too dangerous a Man on earth. Therefore, Satan has to launch a relentless sophisticated communication warfare to ensure Man never assimilates God's Word ! That's why Satan is much engaged, organizing, and working hard to promote a sophisticated world religion without the power of God operating by his Word. Religion is part of the ongoing information warfare. Watch out! Your religious denomination might just be "The eaters of raw flesh club "!
The most important question remains. How does your food affect your growth? Parents with common sense are worried when they feed their children and do not measure any change in their growth patterns. So it must be in the spiritual. If believers claim to be eating the bread from heaven during their gathering, religion must account for this question: how do we assess spiritual growth and change? How come the bread we eat does not match the spiritual growth patterns of the believers? Have we been feeding them with fake bread from heaven? Why is it so that your weekly bread does not affect and change you? How come you drink divine blood, and yet, you're more miserable than my pagan ancestors? One thing is to be awestruck, dancing away our religious commotions when holy communion is shared in the assembly. Another is to eat the bread from heaven.
Unsurprisingly enough, nowhere in history could we find the God of Israel teaching his children to have access to supernatural power via mysticism, eating transubstantiated divine raw flesh, and drinking divine hot blood to operate with might and power. God never gives us His power without His Spirit. He will never give us His Spirit without His Word. In other words, without His living Word, you have no power. Surely, the shortcut to witchcraft and sorcery is via drinking blood and eating flesh. Eating divine bread and drinking the Wine speak of two different types of revelation knowledge. It is only when you have eaten or assimilated God's Bread that He can give you His Wine to drink. For now, let us focus on eating the Bread.
If what we eat goes into the stomach, that means, it has nothing to do with the bread from heaven. Heavenly bread has no correlation with your local bakery delivery, sanctified and blessed via a pious prayer. Heavenly bread is intangible food for the spirit of Man, and only given by the Spirit. It's not perishable bread. More strikingly, the Torah compares consumption of blood to murder and the covenant people remain hostile to such practice.
LOGOS AND RELIGIOUS SYMBOLS WITHOUT THE RHEMA ARE THE GRAVEYARD FOR RELIGIOUS FOOLS
Biblical language uses symbols to show us signs. And biblical signs are communication tools leading us to the Spirit. The religious meal served on the occasion of a sunday gathering is a symbolic reminder to urgently seek the spiritual bread from above. Religious bread and wine is an invitation to look for the spiritual bread that religion could never manufacture. Many had comfortably settled with theirreligious symbols to the point of defending and taking offense to their religious symbols more than the personality they were made to represent. Therefore, they are mistaking biblical symbolic language for biblical sign and altogether as substitute to truth. Unfortunately, they had ended their journey, shutting the doors to the Spirit. In religious symbols alone they trust ! In the Logos alone they trust ! Here lies the graveyard of many who ambushed themselves and perished as jihadists for biblical truth. Biblical literalism is a shortcut to spiritual suicide. It banks on unexamined assumptions, ready-made or quick fraudulent reading and interpretation of the Bible. It comfortably and lazily leans on simplistic and dogmatic religious formulas that would not tarry with the Word until the Holy Spirit connects you to revelation knowledge. Yet, there is nothing like pre-cooked knowledge when it comes to meditating the Word. The Bible always uses what you can visibly see, identify, and touch to connect you to the invisible world in the Spirit. Every symbol you can relate with in biblical language is a sign or a journey taking you to the Rhema. This pattern never changes. Take for instance the case in Matthew 5: "If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell." Biblical literalism has costed many a sexual organ in their approach to solving sexual sin.
Another tragic Biblical literalism comes from Mt 26:26. "And as they were eating, Jesus took bread and blessed it and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said: "take, eat, this is my body." Biblical literalism has ushered us all into a quick dogmatic sacramental cannibalism. Yet, you must curb your flesh eating disorder in order to handle the Rhema.
- He took the Bread and said: "Eat this Bread". When you hold the visible bread in your hands, you must shift to the invisible by asking this simple question. What bread are we talking about? One with common sense will immediately know that the issue is not the daily table bread we have been eating from childhood. You will make a fool of yourself to take a symbolic representation as a substitute to reality. The flag is the symbol of your nation. But your nation is not a flag. Your flag could burn in fire. But your country is still standing and not impaired by any smoke. The sign about "eating this bread" conveys a deeper meaning about a spiritual reality. Your question must be: what, and how does one eat bread in the spiritual world? A quick answer: in the spiritual world, eating something means, to assimilate or integrate it. And what you eat becomes yours.
- "This Bread is my body" or makes reference to my body. Again, do not touch Jesus' physical body in an attempt to do him harm because of symptoms of meat bulimia you have been struggling with for so long. If eating Jesus' physical body was the point he would have cut some pieces of his body for the disciples to eat. He did not embark them into cannibalism. Make a shift from the natural body to the invisible body. What is the body Jesus was making reference about? What is the Bread he was talking about? He was not speaking about the tangible bread that his disciples could see around the table. The case was being made for a spiritual bread. He was not promoting a carnivore diet club membership. He was addressing a spiritual body to possess, integrate or eat by way of assimilation. The wheat bread is symbolic of another invisible spiritual bread. The physical body of flesh is symbolic of a spiritual invisible body. For the past 2000 years, Yeshua would have had to grow flesh every day if eating his physical body was the matter. By now, we must have recommended him a blood transfusion to replenish his loss of blood. Biblical literalism has sent many into psychiatric institutes with a costly recovery.
Every symbolic language has a sign. What is the sign of this Bread and this Body? This "body" refers to critical function that sustains the flow of divine life, not about his physical or natural body in the flesh. The Bread that we must eat to have divine life is the Rhema Word of God. Man does not live by bread alone, but of every word that comes from God's mouth. God's Word is the most crucial and valuable Bread that Man shall eat to have life. A serial murderer will not be transformed by eating daily consecrated bread, but by eating God's Word and applying it. Paul stopped being a murderer the day he received and heard God's Word on the road to Damascus. You do not become a better person by addiction to consecrated Italian wine. The day you receive an outpouring of the Holy Spirit you do not remain the same. Here is the uncomfortable question we fail to address. If God's Word has no power to transform, mature, and build you up, could your Sunday's divine raw flesh eating do any better ? Could you drink divine blood as substitute to the Holy Spirit and close your heart to his leading over your life by neglecting God's Word?
Food intake or information is what you feed your children with, in order to develop their body by growing flesh and gaining physical strength. However, in order to assure mental growth in your children, you must feed them with accurate information by way of providing intellectual food intake and making sure they assimilate and operate with this information. Intellectual growth is function of assimilated knowledge or accurate applied information. Intellectually, you do not mature your children by making them drink blood and eat raw beef filet mignon on a daily basis. Most importantly, parents communicate their character and core values to their children, by training them to assimilate their words via repetitive teaching and demonstrated living examples. The most high God is the Father. He does not mature his children by feeding them with blood. Please, abstain from coming at Christ's table with a witch's mindset ! You will be entertaining a religious paranoia, having the unshakeable belief that you are receiving special powers during communion, and nurturing grandiose spiritual feelings about yourself that are totally untrue. Without assimilating God's Word and His Spirit, you are the best candidate for religious schizophrenia. Indeed, to teach us His divine nature, and communicate us His character, the Father in heaven feeds us with His Rhema Word and then, imparts us with His Holy Spirit to lead us.
So it has always been with the most High God.Likewise, on the spiritual level, you do not mature by eating daily consecrated raw flesh, and by drinking divine hot blood. You grow spiritually by assimilating God's Rhema Word.God's Word is the Bread that feeds you, in order to develop, mature, and grow your spiritual body. The more you eat His Bread, the more you gain flesh and strength, the more visible your body. As you grow, you must readjust the level of your food intake and the size of your clothes to match the patterns of your growth.
It makes sense that Luke 2:52 is keen to emphasize that, Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and the Word of God was found in Him. The spiritual body of Jesus was visible because of God's Word growing in Him. God's Word or wisdom activated in you, will manifest your spiritual body. The food you eat will manifest or reveal the stature of your body. The Word + the Spirit reveal the spiritual body of Yeshua. In Him, people saw God's power in words and in Spirit. That is the body they saw. On the physical level, Jesus' natural body was not different from any other young boy in his village. However, on the spiritual level, his spiritual body has a different stature. As such, you can never grow beyond the level of your food intake or what you can assimilate. God will not impose you food or information bread you cannot assimilate. Divine bread intake is gradual. God gives you first milk, then food. As you make progress, solid food is served. And finally bread goes with wine for the mature. Your spiritual body will be revealed. "Take and eat this bread" means this: let God's Word become yours, assimilate it, let it possess you and govern your life. Literally, become this Word as you partake it.
When a little child attempts to wear his/her father's shoes or clothes, the response is immediate: "you do not have the body to wear that size!" In other words, you do not have the necessary information or support structure that enables you to carry that much size. Jesus has the body it takes to stand against evil and do the will of His Father. Why the intimation to eat his body? Because God's Word was in Him, and God's Spirit was dwelling and operating in Him.
The DNA of Jesus' body = The Word + the Holy Spirit in action. When you hear "Body", think immediately of "Function". Yeshua functioned with this spiritual body. Thus, to eat Jesus' body = having the Word and the Spirit in you. In Acts 10:38, "you know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power." Therefore, you must eat this "body" if you want to have divine life flowing in you. The natural body is the physical structure of a person, the assemblage of parts, such as bones, flesh, and organs working together to achieve the necessary functions for life. What is the purpose of human body? Working to achieve the specific functions necessary to carry life. The fleshly body of a person is a buildup of DNA information to achieve specific functions. Likewise, the spiritual body of a person carries a buildup of spiritual principle or information.
The spiritual body of a person is the spiritual DNA or architecture informing, carrying, and maintaining the necessary flow of divine information to be manifested. It is not enough to claim to be eating the body and drinking the blood of Jesus. You must become what you eat. You must be influenced by what you drink. You must become the body of Jesus. You must become the blood of Jesus. You must become and be a demonstration of God's Word. And your calling is to be led and operating by the Holy Spirit. The eucharist has never been a call to do religion.
Focus more on the functionality of your body to appreciate why eating is imperative. Focus more on the functionality of God's Word to appreciate how much and why you must eat this flesh. Why is the Church being called the body of Christ? Because the Church has been given and entrusted with the Bread and the Wine: the Word and the Holy Spirit. Evangelists, prophets, priests or pastors, and apostles are called on mission to feed the Word to peoples and nations. As they serve this Bread, the Holy Spirit comes to do the job. Yeshua entrusted his Body to the Church to be given as Bread for people to mature and grow in their spiritual bodies and find life. Here is the hidden implication. Every individual member of the Church becomes the Body of Christ. Every believer is a carrier of the Holy Spirit working and operating through that person, and God's Word must be found and alive in that person.
What do you get when you eat this Bread? When you eat God's Word, you mature in size and stature by way of righteousness, truth, love, justice, and peace in oder to stand against the waves of death and darkness brought about by evil and wickedness. In other words, by eating this bread, you get or assimilate God's nature in you to become a channel of life and righteousness. God's Word applied will protect you against the waves of evil. You become a governmental door that opens to life, standing to protect life and oppose death and darkness. Take it easy! Your consecrated bakery could not help you overcome the heavy cloud of darkness in your city. You need another kind of bread from heaven. This is the body we have been called to eat or assimilate and it is only found in God's Word.
What it means to "eat this Bread" is this. God's Word has to become part of us if we want to see God's power moving through us. Until the Word is operating, commanding, leading, ruling, and directing our daily lives, we are riding opposite to God's power and entering into collusion with death. There is no substitute to God's Word. Putting the Word of God in the tabernacle, keeping consecrated bread in the tabernacle, and carrying a piece of the Word in our pocket, speak all together about the same reality. We cannot escape God's Word becoming part of us when we want to stand against death and darkness. God's Word has to become part of us to see his Spirit being manifested through us.
It's not enough to parade with the Bible or break your knees in front of a consecrated bread if God's Word is never assimilated in your life or never inscribed within you and your spirit-man. The Word has to take flesh within us and become a tangible manifestation through us. Therefore, we miss it all together when we celebrate the Word and fail to become people of the Word, living by the Word. We can never know God outside His Word. God so loved the world that He sent His Word to us. The greatest gift and most valuable asset God gave to Man is his Word as divine Bread information. Once you have received the body it takes to mature in God's character, God sent you wine.
God gives you who He is by His Word in order to make room for His Spirit to lead in your life. In Genesis 14:18, Melchizedek, the king of righteousness, came to meet Abraham with an offering of bread and wine. He was priest of the Most High God. God gives us the most valuable asset as Word to communicate his nature, power, and character to us. Once we know his character, He gives us the greatest of all gift, His Holy Spirit. Yeshua our high priest came to meet humanity. He brought Bread and Wine. What you drink influences you. When you drink alcohol, you are under the influence. When the Holy Spirit is poured out on you, you are under His influence. The symbol of wine is the sign of the Holy Spirit coming to take control.
"Take and Drink, this is my Blood"!
Most christians have reduced the Holy Spirit to his actions to the point of reducing Him to a "fire", a "dove", a "wind", etc... Symbolic language has its limits. The Holy Spirit is a divine Person who does many things at a time. He purifies of sins, leads, speaks, directs, teaches, counsels, etc... The best symbol to describe His action is the symbol of wine. Why? Wine is an influencer of human conduct. Wherever and whenever the Holy Spirit is welcomed, He influences and changes the course of human conduct. Blood is the most vital essence in human body. Without blood, life stops. On the spiritual level, what is the most important reality for spiritual life to be effective? The Holy Spirit is the blood for the believers to ensure the flow of divine life. Without the Holy Spirit, you have no divine life flowing in you. Without the Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead, you are spiritually a dead body that cannot operate or function. To a greater degree, without the Holy Spirit, no one could ever have fellowship or communion with the most High God. Jesus' first miracle of turning water into wine at the wedding in Cana in John 2, gives us the hidden symbol of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit alone brings new life to humanity for a banquet celebration to occur between God and Man. In other words, without the Holy Spirit, there is no fellowship or communion with the Father. The pleading to Jesus for a miracle was a call to activate the gift of the Spirit in Him to avoid the tragedy of a wedding turning into a shameful fellowship disgrace. "They have no more wine"! Here is a subtle reference to the absence of the Holy Spirit who guarantees fellowship between God and his peoples. By the way, what is the whole point of your religious celebration if the Holy Spirit is a permanent absentee? For without the Holy Spirit, fellowship between God and humanity is impaired. Without the wine of the Holy Spirit, a wedding celebration will surely end up in a bitter and acrimonious divorce. Yes, we have received God's Word for religious ceremonial cleansing, purification, or repentance. We are under divine judgment. Yet, without the Holy Spirit, God's Word cannot be activated ! Jesus was pointedly reminding his mother of this timely truth. There is a time for the coming of the Holy Spirit to dwell among God's peoples. Only the Father knows and decides when and how to send his Holy Spirit for the banquet celebration with humanity. Then, the ultimate wedding celebration will take place. The Bible uses human familiar symbol to convey spiritual realities. The wedding at Canaan foretold the union between the spirit of Man and the Holy Spirit, condition sine qua non for God to dwell among his peoples. Wherever the Holy Spirit is absent, God's Spirit has departed !
We are certainly familiar with the Holy Spirit coming in the form of fire to lead or to purify. Fire works for purification from sins. Notice thatwhen the Holy Spirit came down on Jesus, there was no fire. Jesus was without sin. The Spirit was slowly and gracefully poured out on Him like the slow motion of a dove falling on someone. The symbol of pouring out wine speaks of strong influence over the one who drinks from it. "Take and drink this cup" means this: let this cup of wine influence, lead, or control you from now on. Why now the strong symbol of wine and blood being set in parallel to give us the complex revelation knowledge of the Last Supper?
Blood is the life of the human body. Blood carries nutrients to every cell of the body and losing this life support precious liquid put life in danger. Blood is the vital principle, the vital essence, or animating force for all living things to maintain connection with the flow of life. Without blood, life stops. Likewise, on the spiritual level, divine life or eternal life flows through and with the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit, there is no life. The Holy Spirit is of the utmost importance for the believers to secure and maintain connection with divine life. The Holy Spirit is the forever animating Person who gives spiritual life to all those who freely accepted God's Word. The spiritual life force - dunamis -, the inherent force giving ability to connect with the life of the Spirit or the supernatural, refers to the Person or actions of Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the blood in the life of the believers, meaning, He is the "vital essence", the one who influences, directs, and leads the life force carrying the flow of divine life. Acts 1:8 gives us a glimpse: "But you will receive power - dunamis - when the Holy Spirit comes on you..." The Holy Spirit is the blood of the believers means, He is the divine life in, for you, and through you. Disconnected from the Holy Spirit, you become spiritually dead, no divine life could flow in you, no influence from the supernatural. You are left with your religious gimmicks and mimicry, just to trick and perform for religious spectators awaiting a free show.
"Take and drink. This cup is the new covenant in my blood." Wine is the sign of the Holy Spirit. When God restores us by His Word, He sends us the Holy Spirit to dwell with us and lead us. Wine is poured out in abundance. This is the sign of the Holy Spirit being poured out for us.What does wine has in common with the Holy Spirit? Total control, submission, obedience, and being under influence. When you are intoxicated with wine, you are no longer in control whatsoever. In the same way, when the Holy Spirit dwells in you, it is no longer "I who live, but Christ lives in me." Galatians 2:20.
To drink the cup of wine is an invitation to receive and be led by the Holy Spirit. Wine is the blood of the new covenant or the new contract. What is the intake or the benefits when you enter into a marriage contract? The benefits of marriage are the children. What did Abraham gained in his covenant with God? The promise of offsprings, a land, and a universal blessing. What did we get in Jesus' blood sacrifice? The Holy Spirit is the distinctive outcome or benefit we receive from this new covenant. The Holy Spirit does not work outside the new covenant. He is sent to those who have been purchased by the blood of Jesus.
The Holy Spirit cannot work in us without the Word. And God's Word cannot operate in us without His Spirit. Yeshua our high priest came to meet humanity with Bread and Wine. And he said: Take, eat, this is my body. Take, drink from it. This is my blood in the new covenant! Any place and time the believers in Yeshua gather, they always put in place a festive celebration. Why? They remember with thanksgivings the divine greatest gifts to humanity: the Word came to them and has been received. And the Holy Spirit came, now dwelling within their hearts because of the blood sacrifice of Yeshua. They drink their wine and eat their cake in remembrance...
God's Bread is not given for religion but for Government. God's Bread works to Achieve Policies From his Throne.
Consecrated bread is what we eat in order to remind us that we must assimilate or eat the Rhema Word for action. When we assimilate God's Bread, we must demonstrate divine character and standards. The Spirit's bread from heaven is giving to Man's spirit. Until you shift from the Logos to the intimate experience of the Rhema Word, you will never know what eating God's Word really stand for. Eating God's Rhema Word is for his mission, action, government, in order to be and do like God on earth. This is the flow of immaterial information from heaven engraved in Man's heart or spirit. This is the only Bread that changes and transforms mankind. For this, you must be born again. It is pre-requisite to eating. Knowing God's Word is owning, possessing, intimately integrating it, to such an extent that we operate and live by it.
What are we really eating?Find the answer in Ezekiel 3:3:
"Mortal man, eat this scroll that I give you, and go, speak to the house of Israel."What we eat is the Word.
The scroll represents God sending his Word to the Prophet to be given to his covenant people for salvation. In Revelation 10:1, John is instructed to eat the scroll and deliver a pronouncement to all nations, languages, and kings. God's Word is sent to John to be given to every body. The greatest divine commission is this: go, deliver the Word as Food for all mankind to find salvation! The Word is commissioned to all nations and people on earth for salvation. In other word, for God to reconnect his people to his divine network, He has to send his divine information. People must go with divine information if we want to see others being reconnected and restored.
What does food eating stand for in the spirit's world?
Those who eat food from the spirit's world are changed by the very food they partake. The Word of God changes us. We receive the ability to act like the Word, become like the Word, become intimately one with the Word. The Word is deeply engaging, personally invasive in essence. Fed by the Word and led by the Spirit, Jeremiah 20:9 shares his personal experience: "your Word in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones." Jeremiah is set in motion to fulfill God's will when the Word came to him. And food eating in the spirit realm abolishes the boundaries between heaven and earth. Data and information flow uninterrupted from heaven down to earth like under Jacob's ladder.
Food is not given or shared in family for the sake of entertainment or performance. Parents feed their children in order to ensure their physical growth, maturity, in order to prepare them for life mission and trials ahead of them. Home is a place where we are fed to accomplish a purpose. As in the natural, so in the spiritual.
Spiritual food in God's Kingdom is intrinsically connected with God's Throne. God's Bread is for divine Government and purpose on Earth.
The eucharist is for heavenly Government. That's why, it has been entrusted to the "Ekklesia", God's governmental body on earth that carries divine government mandate till He returns. The sharing of bread could never be divorced from heavenly mandate and commission. This table fellowship is connected to God's salvation agenda and governmental purpose.
As such, divorcing the eucharist from the Throne of God and the Covenant is a recipe for idle religious vagabondage. For the Jewish dinner table matches the Temple altar. The Bread of the Presence, לחם הפנים, in Exodus 25, is the bread of purpose and mission. The bread of the presence is the picture of the Word in us coming to carry God's agenda. God nourishes and feeds us, in our service to Him, to his Government, and for His mission on earth. That's why food provision has been given.
God will not manifest his presence to us leaving behind his character. God's presence does not manifest outside His Word. Where the Spirit of God is, there is truth, righteousness, justice, love, and peace. God's Bread takes flesh in us when we put righteousness, love, and truth in action. His presence could be seen !
God's presence is not a spooky experience glowing behind some holy smoke and flickering candle light. As a precursor of the Word of God, the Ark of the Covenant carries the tablets of the Ten Commandments. There is no substitute of God showing his presence outside his Word and his Spirit. If one is showing contempt and has no reverence or obedience to his Word, one is simply spiritually dead and hostile to God's presence and to his Spirit.
If one remains tone-death to God's presence through his living Word, no matter how persistent we brandish and parade holy bread on the face of sense-knowledge believers, it simply amounts to the desperate attempt to make a dead man stand and walk on water. If one cannot hear the Spirit speaking in the Word, one can never see and understand when God's Word demands us to take action by breaking bread with the poor.
The tangible bread is made to represent the intangible Rhema Word of God, only brought to us by his Spirit. Man does not live by tangible bread alone, but by every Word that comes from God. The Israelites ate manna forty years in the desert. The tangible manna was a picture of an intangible food to come: the Word of God.
For in John 6: 32, Jesus said to them: "it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world."
Now, what is it all about when we make the claim to eating the Bread of God? What are the clear signs that identify those who eat this Bread and drink this Blood ?
In Genesis 18, we have a perfect picture of the pre-incarnate Word of God coming to his Temple on earth as represented by Abraham. Abraham is God's Beth'El or the house of God on earth through the covenant. Sitting at the gate or entrance of his tent near the trees of Mamre, Abraham saw three men standing by. Abraham immediately knew that, standing between the two visitors, is the Word in person, coming down to fellowship with him. This is a vision in the spirit that Abraham recalls for us. Seeing in a vision is knowing to the Middle eastern culture. His confession gave the proof of his spiritual eyes being opened: "Since you have come to your servant, let me do this and that..."
God's Word or Bread is sent to our gate knocking. The Bread is sent as a banquet to be assimilated or eaten. Abraham prepares a table for fellowship. When we open our heart or partake the Word, we have fellowship with the Father, by his Spirit, through His will acting and moving in his Word. Fellowship with the Father is an invitation to enter His Government. Jesus rightly depicts what kind of food we are dealing with: "My food is to do the will of Him who sent me and to accomplish his work."
When we eat this Bread and drink this blood, we are quickened to move, to take action according to God's agenda. The Word is active.
The consequential act of Abraham receiving the Word is self telling. He is quickened to enter into action. He ran to select a tender calf; he hurried to prepare a meal for his guests. This is the exact picture of Christ coming to feed the multitude, heal the sick, raise the dead, and satisfy the yearning of God's children. On the road to Emmaus in Luke 24, the Word of God came walking alongside with the disciples. As soon as the disciples recognized the Rhema Word at the sign of a table fellowship, they rose up and returned on the mission field in Jerusalem.
Eating this Bread is correlated with Mission and Government. If you are not moving and quickened to take action, you haven't eaten anything yet. However, remember that the food we eat and serve is divine information for salvation. For a starving person, food information is what the stomach is reclaiming for the body to function. For the spirit of Man, the Rhema is the critical food necessary for life. Therefore, sharing bread refers to sharing divine information that restored the lost. This is giving bread to those who have been disconnected from fellowship with the Father. "I was hungry and you fed me" is a subtle reference to this truth: I lost connection with the Father or my network was shut down with heaven, and you brought me the divine flow of information for my restoration. God so loved the world that He gave his Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but be reconnected to the data flow of eternal life.
When we eat this Bread or this Word, we enroll in the position of a servant by bringing water to wash the feet of others and providing bread to satisfy the hunger around the nations.
Abraham met the need around him by serving and washing the feet of his visitors. The Word comes to us always in the position of a servant-king as in Isaiah 53. Those who eat this Bread serve and sacrifice for the need of others. Jesus celebrated the Passover with his disciples and went straight to the cross to lay down his life for others.
Those who eat of this Bread intercede for the salvation of others and share the burden of the lost.
Abraham pleaded and interceded for the lost in Sodom. The Word comes to us to stand in the gap to save many who are headed to their destruction. Jesus intercedes for us sinners at the right hand of the Father. The Word is shared for the lost to return home to the Father. Intercession is sharing your divine WiFi network by helping someone who lost connection to access the flow of heavenly information by the Word.
Keep in mind that the twin cities of Sodom and Gomorrah did not fall by military conquest. They had been conquered by lethal and poisonous information that took control of the people's minds and hearts. When you feed people and nations with divine information bread you reconnect them to their destiny and calling on earth and they build God's Kingdom. Feeding the hungry is doing network marketing recruitment for the lost. Your reward will be great in the heavenly headquarters.
When Drinking Blood Trumps the New Blood Covenant
The Gnostic teaching had cast its web of deception to shape our understanding of wine in the new covenant. Ancient Greeks who worshipped Dionysus, the god of Hades or Queen of heaven, equated drinking wine with "drinking the god". They took the influence of wine on humans, such as ecstasy, debauchery, and madness, as official manifestation of the god inside them. The priests of Dionysus fed the dead souls with blood-offerings. Such a Dionysiac religious schizophrenia is still a theological die-hard approach to this day. No matter what. The symbolism of drinking consecrated wine in christian circles is an ersatz of drinking the blood of a divinity. Yet, it seems mission impossible to come up with a Biblical precursor vindication of such doctrinal contamination. By all means, it sounds like a coercive religious psychiatry to take membership card and enroll into witchcraft seminars. Just have a close look at Dyonisiac orgies and rituals to appreciate how ancient Greek belief-systems have infiltrated our Biblical worldview. The Gnostic have hijacked christian theology to vindicate their belief systems to the ruler of Hades.
What and why does wine has in common with the Holy Spirit? Control, submission, total surrender, and obedience because the Holy Spirit is Lord.
While we mature by eating, assimilating, and being transformed by God's Word, God was graduating us into his school of obedience and surrender by way of preparing us to receive His Spirit. We experience the Rhema Word via true submission from the heart. Now, like in Ezekiel 47, the water from the temple has been rising as we make progress on the journey into God's Word. A time will come, where the water will be deep enough to swim in - "a river that no one could cross." It becomes impossible for a human being to accomplish only what God can do by his Word. It's time for the Holy Spirit to take residence in us to fulfill divine Government. At this stage of the journey into the Word, wine becomes the sign of the Holy Spirit. When you drink enough wine, wine controls you and makes you do, behave, and say what you could not do by yourself. That is the reason why, symbolically, we speak of "being filled" by the Holy Spirit. Here is the picture given to our understanding. Negatively, as long as we are under the influence of alcohol, we make room for all violence and insanity to take control of us. On the spiritual level, we must always be "filled" by the Holy Spirit, meaning, we should be under the influence and control of the Holy Spirit in order to act and behave according to divine standards. The same is true when the Holy Spirit tabernacles in us. He takes total control 24H/24 as long as we allow Him to be Lord over us. And we will see and account for his works and achievements.
Negatively, when one is intoxicated with wine, one's behavior is severely altered. A person driving while being intoxicated is charged by the police with this penalty: DUI - Driving Under the Influence - The worshippers of Dionysus rely on wine and poppy to experience ecstasy as the manifestation of their wild deity. 1 Peter 4 mentions what the pagan god of wine rewards his adepts with: sensuality, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, lawless idolatry, and a flood of debauchery. On the day of Pentecost, the unbelievers mistook the ministry of the Holy Spirit with the Dionysiac power of wine. Ephesians 5:18 draws a parallelism between the effects of wine and the influence of the Holy Spirit. "Do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Holy Spirit". Before the birth of John the Baptist, the angel of the Lord in Luke 1 warned this. The child must not drink wine, because he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. The message is this: the Person who will carry the job and mission is the Holy Spirit, your child is simply an instrument of God.
When we mature by God's Bread, He sends us the Holy Spirit to dwell in us. He is the Lord, not an errand boy. The influence of the Holy Spirit in us could not be controlled by Man. The wind blows wherever it pleases. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit. Man becomes an available vessel, ready to go and do whatever the Spirit wants to do, accomplish, speak, and operate. We have no agenda. The plans are his.
Wine is the Seal of the Holy Spirit
One may spend a lifetime doing religion and never have a relationship with God. Here is the challenge. The Holy Spirit cannot operate outside and without God's Word. God does not chart outside his own standards of righteousness, justice, love, and truth. The Holy Spirit testifies about the Word of God. You must eat the Word to be used by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one who fulfills the Word of God in us. Therefore, we cannot separate the Word from the Wine. You drink wine because you are eating bread. That is the reason why believers have been asked to be continually filled by the Holy Spirit. To be effective, we must always have a flow of the Holy Spirit.
But remember this. The pillar of fire leading the Hebrews in the desert represents God's presence leading and directing his own people. The direction was given outwardly. Now, when we receive the Holy Spirit, He is not coming as a casual or seasonal tourist. The authenticity of your relationship with the Father is manifested by the inner witness inside your spirit. In 2 Corinthians 1:22, God has "also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee." The Holy Spirit dwells in us to lead us inwardly. He speaks, guides, leads, suggests, advises, counsels, etc...When we drink this wine, we are no longer in control whatsoever. In Romans 8:15-16, "The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God."
Wine is symbol of the New Blood Covenant
In Exodus 7, Moses turned water into blood. The flow of life or living water has been interrupted. Communication with God has been impaired by sins. Blood is the sign of divine judgment against human transgressions and sins. The blood of Yeshua has purchased back what we lost in rebellion, fellowship with God. Yeshua turned water into wine. Wine is a sign that redemption has been restored for Man, and there is great joy and reason to celebrate. What are the benefits of the blood of Yeshua? You must clearly identify the purpose of the blood of Yeshua to avoid applying it out of context and mistakingly substituting it to a protective charm. One of the core benefits of Yeshua's blood is the forgiveness of sins. "Without the shading of blood, there is no forgiveness" Hebrews 9:22. Sins legally open the door and venues for the laws of death to be applied in us. Such are the byproducts of death: sickness, curse, poverty, violence, addiction, etc....Here is the legal binding rights for believers in Christ. Christ's blood makes it illegal for the penalty of sins to be inflicted upon us who believed in Him. All the benefits of Christ's blood become our portion. We call it salvation. Christ's blood is not for mysticism. He paid our bill of rights once and for all.
The cup of wine is the sign of the new covenant in Yeshua's blood. The new covenant is with the born again or new creature. The old Man has passed away. The ministry of the Holy Spirit signals the new outpouring of wine from heaven. In the old covenant, we have the blood of animals to temporally cover for the transgressions of God's people. Now, through the blood of Jesus, sins are not temporally covered, but blotted out, forgiven, and dealt away by total remission.
"This cup seals the new covenant with my blood. Drink it." 1 Corinthians 11: 23-26.
Those who call themselves christians are not religious practitioners. They are those who are led by the Holy Spirit. The wine they drink is the Holy Spirit. The works they do are not their own. What they achieve is accredited accomplishment from the Holy Spirit. The blood covenant they entered to, is the blood and sacrifice of Yeshua. We could now bring a clear understanding about the Blood, redemption, Wine, and the Word.
Shavuot (Pentecost), is the celebration of the day God gave the Ten Commandments, the Torah or the Words to the Israelites. Here is the bitter reality while celebration is still going on. All have sinned and fallen short in living up to God's Word. The Torah is given as proof that no one could be righteous. We are all criminal offenders by breaking God's moral laws. Here is God's master plans to get us out of the impossible equation. In criminal law, justification refers to exemption from criminal liability. God drops all legal charges against us by a "vicarious liability". That means, Yeshua takes upon himself the legal liabilities of our criminal charges. We now receive credited or inputed righteousness or justification. Because God knows that it is impossible for us to observe the Law or his Word, He gives us the Holy Spirit to fulfill the Word in us. That's the reason why, the Bread and the Wine go always hands in hands. The Holy Spirit comes to accomplish the Word in us and for us. Believers celebrate in remembrance of what God had done for them. They were former criminals who had been granted inputed righteousness. They were unable to observe the Law, and now, the Holy Spirit is working for them. God's Law or Word, instead of condemnation, is producing and crediting righteousness for them. The celebration is all about God who had tabernacled among his people with His Word and by his Spirit. But, the believers' party could not be possible, had it not been because of the critical blood covenant. Between the Bread and Wine, the Blood has spoken. You do not solve a criminal offense by invoking mercy. And a good person's benevolence does not nullify the law. Yes, God is merciful and good. But He could not transgress his own laws when sin is acted. God has to follow the procedure of his own constitutional law when a crime is committed. In God's constitutional law, sin is a crime. For when you tell a lie, it is a threat and destruction against human life. When you rob or steal, you endanger lives. When you play by the rules of injustice, you put lives in danger. Sin is a crime in God's Kingdom of life. Now, destruction of life could only be restored or refunded by another human life. That's why Jesus has to give his life to restore what has been destroyed by crime.
Sin is a criminal offense. The wages of sin is death. Jesus paid the legal liabilities of our criminal offense by dying on our behalf. He was subjected to capital punishment on our account. Despite Jesus doing good and performing miracles, it was not enough to get us acquitted or justified from our crime. A murderer cannot pay for a capital punishment by giving alms to the poor or serving as volunteer to rehabilitate the homeless peoples. Jesus has been judged and prosecuted on our behalf. Because, when you offer your own blood, you are offering your own life. When you donate blood to a blood bank, you offer your own life to sustain another life. Therefore, according to criminal law, God has dropped all legal charges against us because of the blood of Jesus. Nobody could prosecute us any longer for the same criminal offense. God had cancelled the record of debt that stood against us. It has been fully paid in blood currency. That is called redemption, exemption from criminal liability. Our freedom from criminal charge has been bought with a high price. That is the reason why God sent his Word to totally free us from the hands of our captor.
Redemption is a commercial law transaction. In monetary terms, silver is the price paid for redemption. For instance, in Exodus 21:32, we find that, if a bull violently kills a slave, the restitution value of restoring a servant's life costed 30 shekels of silver. When Judas betrayed Jesus, 30 pieces of silver was credited to him for the death of his master. Jesus came under the mantle of a slave to buy back or ransom the captives. To regain ownership of loss blood, the price of blood was evaluated at 30 pieces of silver for slaves. Yet, God did not bail out human freedom with silver cash payment. Human freedom can only be paid by blood. Our freedom from death has been bought with only one currency: the blood of Jesus.
Blood is spiritual currency that was paid for our salvation. We have been freed from the debt of sin and death by blood transaction. Blood was the necessary cost payment for our captor to release us from captivity. When you purchase goods, you must take the receipt with you as proof that the goods have not been stolen. We have been purchased in blood money. Now, the seal or the proof of our purchase is the Holy Spirit in us, the inner witness working for us. Without the Holy Spirit in us, we have no proof of our salvation. The unique benefit in the new covenant is the gift of the Holy Spirit.
God's Word is made available to us by the price Jesus paid. The blood is the proof that the one charged with criminal offense has died on our account. We have been saved. Then, we are sealed by the Holy Spirit as authentication of purchase. The inner witness of the Holy Spirit in us gives us the proof and credit that we have been set free and God's presence dwells in us. "This is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days: I will put my laws within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people." Jeremiah 31:333. Christ's wine and bread has set us free from witchcraft and from the wicked hands of the governor of the dead souls and the underworld. We are no longer slaves to the laws of death !
