It is ignorance to read history as a dialectical process. In God's reading room, we read the end of history before its beginning. The end explains the beginning. The Bible is prophecy written as history. Four universal monarchies or Global Powers will be swallowed up by a fifth Power that rose simultaneously with them, yet contradistinguished them all. The Kingdom of God is the terminal point of History on Earth.
